Copy model iproperties

In the Document Settings of our template .idw, we have the "Copy Model iProperty" set that it copies the "Stocknumber" of the model/part to be copied to the "Stocknumber" of the drawing (.idw). This we do for our "Vault" users, since we as "draftsmen" do not want to fill this in manually in our idw's. But when I set this and save it as our template, it does not work.

When you insert a part/assembly and then set this, it works. But when you delete the item/part/view and delete the stocknumber in the idw and put another part/assembly in, it stops working..

Is this an issue or can this resolved, so all our new .idws automatically updates thisproperty from the "copy model iproperty"

Autodesk help:

Copy Model iProperty Settings opens the Copy Model iProperty Settings dialog box. Click the command to select model iProperties to copy into the drawing.

NoteCopied model iProperties can be used in parts lists, title blocks, and other annotations that access model or drawing iProperties.

You have to refresh the iproperties. Goto tbe MANAGE tab and select UPDATE COPIED PROPERTIES. This will refresh all of the properties copied from the models.
