Converting Inventor 3D parts into AutoCAD

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to export an inventer solid to AutoCAD Maps? The reason for this is for one of the other designers needs a part i have already drawn in inventor.

Thank you

 Mike

You haven't stated what version of Inventor?

File>Save Copy as Type *.dwg doesn't work for you?

What about Environments>AEC Exchange>Save as DWG Solids?

You have to go to Environments>AEC Exchange>Save as DWG Solids. Then go into true view and convert the dwg to the earlier file you want it to.

Isn't that what I said?

That is why I asked what version of Inventor.
In 2012 you can save directly.
