Convert to Inventor native file

I have a file "Crankshaft" which I downloaded from internet. The file is not created by Inventor software but imported into Inventor and made some amendment.

When I created section view in *.idw. The Crankshaft cannot show the hatching line. I do not want to spend time to add the hatch line manually or recreate the file by using Inventor software.

Anybody can help me to convert it to Inventor file and able to show the hatching line in sectional view. The file is attached below.

Thanks

I can create the hatching lines successfully.

Have you checked on Hatching in Drawing View? Please refer to attached snapshot.

Btw, for the data error as Yannick mentioned, you can copy the data to Construction Environment and repair it to clean with Refit Tool directly.

You can repair it easily after you study JD's materials.

Have a try. 🙂

Btw, have you got your hatching line now?

There is also a print document at the link I provided that goes along with the recording.  Pay particular attention to Problem 6 pgs 23-25 for this particular problem. Read/watch the whole thing as I might have covered stuff earlier that is assumed by pg 23, but I think that problem most closely represents your part.
