Constraint limits do not work in the same assembly at different positions.

Why does this not work?  Open up the flexible limits.iam.  Expand the last part 300-4474_57 to see the constraints.  Change the Mate:52 from -8 to -10 and watch how the assembly updates.  That is how I want it to react with limits set for the cylinders.  Now close down the assembly without saving.  Open up the 107400_SKS.iam.  Expand the last part to see the constraints.  Suppress Mate:1 and unsupress the Insert:1 +/-.  Save the file and then open the flexible limits.iam again and change the -8 to -10 and it fails.  Note: only the top level is attached.  I will reply to this with the other files needed.

NeverMind.  I didn't have the limits set high enough.  My goof.

Sorry for the confusion.  But even after changing the upper limit to 4 it is still doing it.  Can someone look at this afterall.

Shastu,

What version of Inventor are you using for this dataset?

Thanks,

Jan
