Constraining a peg to a groove

I have to constrain a peg to a groove to allow it to move guided by it.  The groove is made with a sweep of a rectangle guided by a path made of straight lines and arcs.  I am only able to constrain the peg to either the straight portions or the arc portions of the groove but not to the complete groove.  Is there any way to allow the peg to slide along the entire groove?

Transistional Constraint.

Attach your assembly here.

Hi elmotors,

As JDMather said, you'll want to use a Transistional Constraint. Attached is simple example  to reference.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
