Constrain Detail Views

Is there a way to constrain a detail view in a drawing to a specific location in the parent view? I am detailing specific areas of assemblies, and when I edit the spreadsheet that drives the models for different sizes and then re-open the drawing the detail views have not maintained their relative position with respect to the drawing view. It seems the detail views are maintaining relative location with respect to drawing sheet.

I haven't tried in deetail views, but I know you can edit a section line and constrain it in the sketch mode just like anything else. Try RMB on the detail arrow itself and edit.

Right click on the detail circle and select Attach then pick a point on the
parent view.
