Combining Parts help

I am trying to combine these two shelled parts into one so there are basically one tube, but I can not figure out how to trim the long straight tube so it matches the curved tube, please help.

Sketch2 is not constrained and was apparently edited after Sketch3.

Sketch3 is not constrained to Sketch2.

Work Plane1 is not needed.

Patch is not needed.

Shell4 is not needed.  (include the end face of Extrusion2 in Shell3.

 

Read this and later I'll come back and show how the part should have been done.
