Children of Iparts, how to locate?

I'll try posting again. How do I specify where the location of iparts should be located. The way we have our system set up we have iparts as library files (fasteners, purchase parts, etc) on one main network directory. And with IV5.0 we were having the children of those iparts saved in the working directory for each project. Now it used to be that you just put an underscore before the name of the item (i.e. "_fasteners) and then a location to point IV in the right direction, but now you can't do that under library file locations. Where do I specify the end location???

You do use the _ for a proxy path.

See my tutorial on iParts and Project files for more info...

Putting "Library" parts in your Workspace shouldn't work in R6 since it
treats that directory as a "Library" directory and can cause problems;
suddenly all you working parts are library parts. I had this happen (Doh!).

Using the proxy path iParts / _iParts allows you to have all the parents
in a read only directory pointed to by "iParts" and all the children
located in a different directory pointed to by "_iParts". The child
directory will not be visible to you when working in Inventor but you
can drag N drop from it if you want.

Library directories and proxy library directories should NOT be in the
same path as Workgroup or Workspace directories. You could get away
with it in previous releases but R6 has tightened up the rules a bit.
Not meaning to scare you, it does work well but takes a little time
before you get use to it.

Aha! That's what I was missing. I wasn't specifying a sub-folder in my workspace for the children. I was only directing right into the main workspace directory and it wouldn't let me do that. Once I added a sub-folder locations such as ".\fasteners" then it worked out just fine. Thanks for the help guys.
