I work in a semi-isolated mode and have many files and many projects open
yet not active on my computer. This works good for me, a single user on a
network server. I would love to be able to check in files without having to
first open the file. Can I do this, and just don't know how?

It is pretty nice when Inventor will look after
moving files to and from the server - even if you are a single user. If I
was a single user, working from a server, I would use semi-isolated just for
this reason.
I would like to be able to check in files from the
RMB menu in explorer - like DA and Pack n Go.
