Chart in IDW

Is there a way to generate a nice stock list that has nothing to do with
what's in an assembly, just simple fill in the blanks on each row? I can't
seem to find a simple way to do this. You know:

Layout No. | Det. No. | No. Req'd | Mat'l | Name of Detail | Size or
Pattern

I just want a nice manual sheet that I can add details to as I go, not have
to worry about associativity to some assembly or view. Am I thinking too 2d
here? This is what the client is used to seeing. There must be a way.
When I try to do this by picking Partlist button, it first wants to know
which view to associate to. Well I don't have any views in my stock list
idw.

You can copy in an Excel Chart.

Is there a way to change the portal size to show the second (and third and
so on) item I add to the spreadsheet.

Is there a way to put 3 columns on the same Csize sheet from the
spreadsheet, with the two top rows of the spreadsheet repeating at the top
of the columns? - When the job's all done there's going to be literally 50
or 60 rows of items.

So there's no native tool for this, eh?

P.S. Thanks for the help so far Sean.

This is where IV lacks the flexibility of autocad.

If you don't need a real revision table in your drawing, you could even use
a revision table.
Just don' t forget to rename the heading of the table to something else 😉
