Cannot slice a view

I cannot select the sketch for slice, although it's a view attached sketch

Hi Karol,

You need to create a projected view and apply Slice operation to the projected view. Slice operation slices a view using sketch from a different view.

I want to slice the part along the sketch line marked with the red arrow.

No command lets me do a projected wiew along this line.

The Projected command only makes horizontal, vertical or isometric views.

The Auxiliary needs an edge or a line from the model, and i made an attached sketch.

The section command doesn't use sketch lines.

Hi Karol,

can you please try this:

1) RMB on Sketch2->Create Section View

 - it's fine to do it in Browser

2) Check Include Slice in the Section view dialog

3) Place the view

Is this what you need?
