Hello fellow Inventor Advocates!
I just upgraded from Inventor 2011 to Inventor 2012 for (3) users and installed 2012 on a new computer. Windows 7 operating system, 64 bit with 12GB Ram. When I try to "place from content center" in an assembly, on the new computer, the Window is blank, as in there are no categories to choose from, like "fasteners" "features" etc... In the "category view" all I see is "Search results" and history. I tried to re-install the Content Center files from the Flash Drive and it seemed to work, but I still cannot see any files. All other computers are working fine. Any Suggestions?

Hi Ihoang
Maybe you should first take a look at your project file (Manage // Projects )
And then go on Configure Content Center Libraries, and see if the standard libraries are available and in use.
Mr. Masson, Thank you for the suggestion. This certainly does not look right (see attached). What can I do from here?
You defined that your CC libraries are located on a Vault Server.
Is it on purpose.
In Application Options // Content Center // you can set wether your libraries are installed locally (desktop content) or on a Vault Server.
If you installed you content center libraries on the CAD Server :
I think this may be my problem. I'm not sure at what point I told it the files are on the server, but this is what the other workstations look like (see attached). If I can change it to be the same, is it possible the issue will go away? How do I change this?
Yes your colleague has installed the Libraries locally.
Please go to Tools//Application Options//Content Center//
Select Inventor desktop content.
Classical location is ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor2012\Content Center\Libraries
Please check in the directory if the IDCL Files are there.
