Cannot open part file created in Inventor Ver 7 with Ver 5.3....

I use Inventor 7 at school and Inventor 5.3 at home
and when I try to open a part file I made at school
I get an error message "SG_E_FILENOTFOUND".
Can I not open part files from version 7 in an older
version of inventor (5.3)? Thanks for any info regarding this!

The best you can do is save the file as a Dumb solid... either SAT or
STP but you can't save it and be able to edit the features.

This is pretty standard for Solid Modelers out there.
