Can I supress sketch in iPart ?

When I create a configuration in one iPart, I have one Extrusion’s sketch link to another supressed Extrusion and cause problem.

Can I supress sketch in iPart ?

If I can suppress that sketch and I think the problem will be solved.

You could (indirectly) suppress a sketch created on the face of an extrusion by supprerssing that extrusion. So, a posible workaround is to define the sketch on a surface extrusion, and then suppress the extrusion when necessary.

Hi Udaya Gunasena,

Thanks to have a look at this issue.

When I change my sketch4 on the surface of Extrusion 3 and my problem was solved.

I had been used Solidworks for more than 10 years, Solidworks is different, I’ll try Solidworks at home tonight and may get back to you.

Thanks again.

Hi Andy,

The sketch is utilizing projected geometry from the previous extrusion, most likely. That's why it's failing. Don't project the extrusion edges. Project sketch geometry instead. That has been discuss on this forum a few days ago.

Regards,

Igor.
