Can I make fractions round up?

For the love of all that is holy, is there some super secret option for making fractions in the drawing environment round up to the nearest, for example, 1/16th?  There has to be, there just has to be.

Rather than rounding down?  not sure if I understand the question.

Hi zma1013,

If you're using a fractional dimension style then you can set the Precision setting to do this. If you're using a decimal style, then I'm not aware of any way to do this (other than iLogic).

Does the setting I show here not get what you're after?

I hope this helps.

The way Inventor currently does rounding is that it rounds to the nearest "whatever" you have it set on.  So if you have it set to round to 1/16, it will round to the nearest 1/16, meaning it can round up or down.  I would like it to always round up.

Example of what it does now:

Inventor settings set to 1/16

Actual measurement is 13/64

Inventor rounds that to 3/16

Example of what I want it to do:

Inventor settings set to 1/16

Actual measurement is 13/64

Inventor rounds that to 1/4

Hi zma1013,

I don't know of anyway to do that other than to push overrides to the dimenson values, which is generally not wanted. But here is a link to a thread where we used ilogic to force the dimensions to 64ths. It might give you some ideas, if that's the route you have to go.
