Can I extrude or emboss an image onto a model?

Can I import an image file into *.ipt and project that image onto a part such that it can be embossed or extruded?

Thanks.

Not sure I understand what the logic would be to determine the boundary to be extruded? I think you are going to need a raster for vector conversion and bring it in as dxf. Probably will require considerable touch up. Can you attach the image here?

Hello JD,

I have an *ai image consisting of our comapany logo. I want to extrude this image on a cylindrical shaped ipt. How is this done? IS is possible? Thanks!
