Bent tabs on radius using sheet metal

Is there a way to form tabs along a celendrical surface? We are trying to make a bottom of a round basket and we are trying to use the sheet metal portion of Inventor so we could create a flat layout but I can not seem to use an arch as a bendline. Is this the case? We are using IV 2011.

Rolled Contour - a search here of the past couple of weeks should turn up example.

Thanks. I will look into it. I was unsure where to even begin.
