Banner arm FEA

How do you run a stress analysis on the banner arm.

Would you recommend running as an assembly  or just the one arm?

What kind of load would you apply form a 90mph wind.

Do the modelling of arms,pole, thyen creat thin Banner surface. assemble everything than assume Wind load as Static load,Counstraint the pole at bottom as Fixed joint

I hope you can able to see some stress at the intrusection of arm & pole

You apply as pressure of 90mpa or 90N/mm2 on the created banner surface

if you google "INVENTOR SIMULATION handout_2038_MA2038"

Autodesk have a handout from Wasim Younis. It takes you though the equations for wind force on a pannel.

I attended his FEA class last year, it was very good.
