AutoDesk Vault Annoyance

Hello all,

Running Inventor 2013 64bit on Windows 7.

I recently got a destop and loaded Inventor on it, and moved everything over from my old laptop.

Now all the time I get these pop ups that want me to open Vault, check Vault, can't get into Vault, etc.  I've never used Vault, so why does it keep coming up?  This did not happen on the Laptop.

Thanks!

I have Vault Client loaded on my machine so it also shows up in my add/remove program list in the control panel, but I do not have it poping up like it is being described here in this thread.

Try going to tools>addins and see if you have it loaded there.  If so, change the load behavior.

Ewww.  No.  There are many, many things I love about Autodesk ... but only one thing that I completely and unreservedly hate: Vault.

As far as the specific issue at hand ... change your project type from Vault to Single User.

I know vault has it's issues, but I did not find it that bad.  Once you figured out what some of the messages meant and how to get around them it went better.

I would like to try Vault Pro sometime.
