We use in our projects some assemblies with virtual components only. This we use for example for some insulation pins with clips which are not modelled, because these are very small and these pins are used in an typical standard grid on surfaces. There we have found an problem with calculating of mass properties, the assembly with these virtual components are calculated correctly (the button is grayed), but assembly where is this sub-assemblies with virt components included is never calculated, the button never gryed out. Result is, that when somebody works with highest assembly and is trying to calculate mass properties, is also touching these, ussualy finalized and „locked“ sub-assemblies (and inventor would like write to it).
Is there any way to disable recalculation of mass prop on these subassemblies?
Enclosed is simple assembly TestAssembly.iam where is never possible to calculate mass properties (button is never grayed), this is due to included „InsPins.iam“ which contains virt.components only.
