Assembly section view

BlankIs it possible to put a sectioned assembly (i.e. using the 3/4 section
view tool from within the assembly) into a drawing? I have a small assembly
of 6 parts that I need to put into a drawing, showing the inner parts - the
view needs to be an isometric view.
When I place my section view in the drawing it shows as solid - not
sectioned.
I know about sectioning views in drawings, but not when the view is
isometric.
Please help.

Thanks.

Wayne

Create a section veiw of the ortho in your .idw (drag it off the page if you
don't want it visible) and creat a projected ISO off of that.

don't do every day!

There is a catch however. Your Iso section view will not show section
lines. I have yet to figure out why it will not show the section lines.
