Appearance issues

I have created a part and coloured some of the faces "Blue Hummingbird". I have created another part but the "Blue Hummingbird" colour isn't available in the appearance drop down list. The material for both parts is the same "Polypropylene"

When I look in Tools > Appearance there are lots of different Appearances listed under "Document Appearances" for the 1st part I created but for the 2nd there are only 2.

Why don't the same appearances show for every part I create?

Was the part with blue hummingbird created in an earlier version?

Check your template to see what appearances are available.

No I created the parts within half an hour of each other on the same computer.

But thank you. There are 2 icons to create a new part. Each brings up a different set of appearances so the template must be different.

Post screen shot.

Hit Print Screen on your keyboard.
Open MS Paint and Ctrl V and then Crop only the portion of interest (these 2 icons you refer to).
Save the file and attach it here.
