Anti-aliasing only working on moving image.

As the title suggests with Inventor 2014 set to highest quality the anti aliasing is clearly working when

moving the model either rotating ,zooming or panning.The instant I stop moving it the anti aliasing switches off.

This is very strange.

I have tried various settings in the nvidia control panel to no avail.

I have the control panel set as default with the application (inventor) in charge of settings.

I was looking forward to some good image quality this time around but it was not to be.
