Alternative Selection Mode

In inventor 2012, they have switch the toggle between parts/faces a little bit. I like both ways and it isn't a big deal, but is there a way to set the time so it takes less to get the dialogue box to appear? I think I am waiting 3 seconds now. Would like it to be 1 if possible? Let me know please, if this seems like jibberish, I'll try to refine that later.

Are you talking about the time it takes for displaying the “Select Other” dialog below?

If yes, you can set 1 second from menu Tools > Options > Application Options > General tab > Selection > “Select Other” delay (sec).
