Adaptive Parts

After a bit of help.

Using Inventor 2012
I have an adaptive part with holes 100mm in from each end as well as 3 holes evenly spaced along the length of the part. They work fine with the adaptive aspect as one spacing is equal to the next. However what I want to know is if the part grows to a length that the hole centres are more than say 300mm apart is Inventor smart enough to add an additional hole? If so how do I go about defining this?
Any help would be great.
Thanks

iLogic is best for that type of scenario. I have seen an example of it on the forums and in the help/tutorials in 2011/2012. Have a look at this link http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Inventor/enu/2012/Help/2144-Tutorial2144/2145-Inventor2145/2278-iLogic_...

Only trouble is it takes you to a dataset for 2013. There used to be a good tutorial on a flange for your exact scenario, but I can't track it down. I'm sure someone on the forums will point you to the exact files.

You can do this with patterning at the feature level.
