Accessing Inventor file info with AutoCAD

I'm new to the world of CAD. Can anyone please tell me whether it's possible to access the information contained in an ACIS file created with Inventor when it's opened in AutoCAD? In other words, if I create an ACIS file in Inventor and send it to someone who has only AutoCAD, will they be able to see all of the information regarding part dimensions and properties, part location within the assembly, etc.

Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks!

acisin will bring a solid body into Autocad. No dims, they would have to interrogate the model to determine distances. Not materials, not tolerance requirements, no drawings. Just a solid model. An assembly file will (should) provide all the parts with the correct position with respect to each other.
