Accessing Inventor Files???

I would like to access and manipulate the iProperties of Inventor files on a machine that does not have Inventor installed. I thought there was something called Apprentice Server??? that was a freebee that would give me the ability to do this. Was this something I imagined or is there something out there that will help me do this?

Thanks
Ray C.

Sounds like you want standalone design tracking

Apprentice is a way to access this via the Inventor AIP if you want to write
your own custom applications that exist outside of Inventor. The above
install will do what you want.

Sean,
You are correct, I do want to use the API.
Thanks for the link, I think this will help.

Thanks again
Ray C.
