HI
Is it possible to offset this 3D sketch1, it must still follow the curvature

Henrik,
What's your purpose of 3D curves offset? Or what's your expection of the result?
Hi
It is a Mold tool, normally for rubber, a cutting edge is needed, instead make this complete design only a offset line is needed to mill after, you just follow the line and then offset the milling tool down.

Hi Henrik,
It seems no direct method to offset your 3D sketch and let it following the curvature. Sometimes, we can use Offset/Thicken and Extend to help us creating the new 3D sketch. But for your dataset, I met a problem to extend the surface. Let me try it later. One question: What's the offset value of your expectation?
2mm! What's the direction of the offset? Parting direction or Mold open direction? Please refer to the attached picture.
Hi Henrik.
I tried to do a sweep from your 3D sketch. But I found there are some small gaps in the 3D sketch, so I cannot use it to do the sweep. Please refer to the attached pictures for the details.
HI
I can see the problems, do you have an example how you will solve the offset 3D sketch, with use the of the feature “sweep” as you are taking about.

hi Henrik,
You can refer to the attached dataset for the details. I used a sweep to create a surface and then use the Intersection Curve command in 3D sketch to generate the new "offset" curve.
Hi
Tangs for helping me out on this issue, seem to be the way to go.
