Hello,
I have a question concerning server CPU speed. Our company is in the process of upgrading our network with a new server and data lines. Our Inventor and Autocad users store all the parts/assemblies/drawings on the network. Common drawing file size can range up to 100mb range and thus produce insanely long view laoding and rendering times. We want to make sure that our new server is not the bottle neck. How important is server CPU speed when opreting Inventor / Autocad with such complex models? For that matter, how important is 100mhz vs gigabit? We are obviously going to gigabit with CAT6 but I'd like your opinions.
Thanks you in advance.
Below is the system info from our current machines. They are also being upgraded to 32gb of ram.
