Copying/arraying items

I've encountered a couple of problems:

When I copy an object in a negative direction (typically a distance less than 1, -.8175, for example), if I hesitate too long (e.g. referring to my notes to check what the last couple of digits should be), Inventor Fusion for PC "forgets" the digits I've typed and replaces what I typed with the last couple of digits (the copy is displaced by 175 instead of -.8175, for example). Is there a setting to increase the input delay?

If I array the copied objects, ALL copies get arrayed, not just the instances that I selected! Is there at least a way to "Explode" the array so I can delete the unwanted instances?
