Hello there,
I have Inventor Fusion for my Mac and am trying to get a few simple parts manufactured.
I have been told that i need to provide the manufacturer with "DXF R12 format 2000 edition" files to llow them to manufacture the pieces.
I have searched online and found software to convert STL (which i can export from IF) to DXF but they only work on PCs (which i don't have).
Does anyone know if there is a way i can convert Inventor Fusion files to DXF file, whether that be within the software itself or another piece of software for the Mac?
Many thanks in advance.
Mark

You could try ViaCAD, it can load STL files and output into a load of different file formats...
I use it and its quite stable.
