Building an Assembly....

Hello,

How does one go about building an assemble in Fusion? I've tried to copy-paste from another open file but, that isn't working. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

Currently you can only copy bodies across documents. So in the source document expand the body folder, copy the body. Go to the target document, select the target component and paste.

A few other tips related to assemblies:

You can create a child "component" by right-clicking on the root (or other) component and selecting "New Component". This gives you a target to drag and paste.

Once you have more than the root component, you can drag bodies between them.

You can have multiple instances of the same component -- use copy&paste. (Only within a single document.)
