    Assembly component rotation

    Hello,

I am an avid Inventor Pro user. I love the fact that I now get to use Fusion, an Inventor Pro like and compatiable package, on OSX.

Most of my work deals with assemblies. And thus, constraints as well as component rotation is crutial in complicated assemblies.

My question to those who use Fusion:

    1) I have an assembly file pre-made in Pro

    2) I open it up in Fusion and all the constraints are gone (which is fine)

    3) I can re-apply the constraints in Fusion, however some parts are side dependent and snap in the opposise side. In Pro I would use the shortcut "G" on the keyboard to rotate the component only.

    4) Question: I cannot find a way to rotate one component in a assembly in Fusion. Mind you, I have only used it for say 30 min thus far. But, I would like to know if someone knows how to rotate a single part in Fusion so the constraints properly "snap"

    Thanks!

On OS X use the move component command and select the part you want to flip. Select the triad grip and rotate as needed. That should get you started.
