I also get this error a lot. It seems to occur when I change the value of a property of a child rule. When the error occurs , I press continue but the model does not apply the changes to the property. It only works again a when I press enter to insert a new line, showing the available properties of the child rule. When these properties disappear and I save the file, the model is updated. I know, It sounds ridiculous but it works for me right now.
What I would like to know is : what could be the cause of this error ?
I might have to look into that as well...frustrating when it happens all the time whitout knowing why...
Just changing a Constraints offset value (ex: 0 to 1) triggers this error.
Please, let us know if that resolves the problem
I found this document. Looks interesting but seems like it's missing some info. I can create a new IntentV3 project, import existing designs but how can I launch it???
Any time you see an error in that dialog box, regardless of the message, pressing Quit will always kill Inventor/Inent.
What ETO/Intent version are you running? We were getting this error a lot in 5.0, rather generically, but fixed things in 5.1 to report a more actionable error. It's hard to know what's going wrong with just the error message.
I'm on ETO 2012, 64-Bit
Build: 322 Date: 09/11/2011
I also have Visual Studio Ultimate 2010 installed on my computer.
Like mentionned in previous post, just changing an offset value triggers this error. This is one case but this happen frequently in different scenarios.
Child const3 As :IvMateConstraint, Quantity = 1
part1 = wallPanel
entity1 = "faceBottom"
part2 = nth(child.index, wallLiner)
entity2 = "faceBottom"
solution = :flush
offset = 0.0
If I change the offet value to 1 for example I get the error and model doesn't update. So I change it to 2 and everything is fine. i change it back to 0 and get the error. Finally change it to 1 and everything works...really weird!
