Generating CreateMember from iPart using InventorServerClass

Hi Everybody,

I don't find a way to adopt iParts and iAssemblies in ETO. So what I made is I wrote an external dll, which receives topAssembly from ETO Method.

With reference to topAssembly I am able to get the reference of InventorServerClass.

My question is, Can I able to open an iPart file using this instance of InventorServerClass, Activate a row and generate child files with this?

Is there any alternative way?

Any help on this is greatly appreicated!

To Add hint on that, I am able to activate iPartRow and create member files using Inventor ETO Series by casting topAssembly.Parent as object.

The activate iPartRow code throws exception when i deploy it with ETO Server.

Is there a way to debug the external dll during its execution in ETO Server?
