Error setting designviewrepresentation other then 'Intent'

Hi,

I'm trying to use an other viewrep in my drawing, but I receive following error

ScreenShot240.jpg

The Child rule that I use for this

	Child Top As :IvBaseView
		Model = Model
		viewScale = Scale
		viewOrientation = :Top
		viewStyle = :Hiddenline
		origin = Point(120,120,0)
		designViewRepresentation="ViewRep_DWG"
		designViewAssociative=true
	End Child

Am I doing something wrong ? If so, what is the correct way to work with designviews ? According to the documentation, I just need to specify the name of a designview as a string.

On my drawing I don't want to see all the parts so I tried the approach 'HiddenParts', but this is working to slow when his list has +100 parts in it. I now want to use this list of parts to switch off the render?-bit and than make a view and put this on the drawing. This works when I use the 'Intent'-viewrep.

Cheers,

Mark Brouwers

Hi,

Solved my problem. Apparently I give the wrong reference to the paramter model.

The property 'designviewrepresentation' effectively works.

Cheers,

Mark
