Concatenate Child Names

Is it possible to concatenate child names?

Such as:

Child ("Bracket" + ItemNumber) As :Bracket
		grounded? = False
	End Child

Where ItemNumber is Parameter Rule inputted by the user.

Try

Child Bracket As :Bracket
Displayname = "Bracket" + ItemNumber
grounded? = False End Child

Thanks,

This works on how it is named in the Intent model browser. Is there also a way to change the name in the Inventor model browser?

Try. If your variable "ItemNumber" is integer or number you need to use function stringValue().

Parameter "occurrenceName" changes part or assembly name in the Inventor Browser.

Child Bracket As :Bracket
occurrenceName = "Bracket" + stringValue(ItemNumber)
grounded? = False End Child
