Access Active Render Style

Can someone point me to a way to access the color (active render style I believe) of an Inventor part from ETO?

Thanks,

Scott

If you are looking to set the color of a part then you can set that in the child declaration.

Child testPart As :TestPart
         color = "Red"
End Child

Actually, I don't need to set the color.  I need to get the color.

I believe what you want is

gethostobject(me).definition.document.activerenderstyle.name

'assuming me is the part occurrence

Yup, I was about to try that....   🙂

Holy cow, I'm not sure where that came from, but it seems to work great.

Thanks Farren!
