Can you try install the Developer Tools again? The template is there... (at least on my side)

"C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2014\SDK\DeveloperTools.msi"

Hi icross,

I heard about such issue from the other customer. The workaround is to copy the templates manually.

Please copy them to the folders below respectively.

\Visual Studio 2012\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Basic

\Visual Studio 2012\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#

Hello,

im an experienced inventor user but new to the programming and vb.net

now for my graduation thesis im programmin inventor, so i've installed vb 2010 expres, added the zip file where it should

then started a new project , used the inventor add ins template, and without doing anything i click build and it gives the next error

Error 1 The command "call "%VS100COMNTOOLS%vsvars32"
   mt.exe -manifest "\\tedecon-server\users\bjorn\mijn documenten\visual studio 2010\Projects\Testproject\Testproject\Testproject.X.manifest" -outputresource:"\\tedecon-server\users\bjorn\mijn documenten\visual studio 2010\Projects\Testproject\Testproject\bin\Release\Testproject.dll";#2" exited with code 9009. Testproject

what can i do about this?

I have managed to get the AddIn template for Inventor in Visual Basic 2008 Express, but when I create the project and build, I get the following error:

Error    1    The command "call "%VS90COMNTOOLS%vsvars32"
            mt.exe -manifest "C:\Users\jgrobler.APC\AppData\Local\Temporary Projects\InventorAddIn1\InventorAddIn1.X.manifest" -outputresource:"C:\Users\jgrobler.APC\AppData\Local\Temporary Projects\InventorAddIn1\bin\Debug\InventorAddIn1.dll";#2" exited with code 9009.    InventorAddIn1

For some reason I need to get a couple of lines of code that referes to a COM release but I cannot find this in my template.

Anybody seen this before?
