I have built in parts and then iPart published in Content Center, these parts are
automatically placed in a similar assembly screws, with list of material and weight.
I have a giant assembly constructed in this way, however the list of material prices have
each plate, axles ..... but at a given time need to change the price of the items already published form
content in the center, that are already detailed.
In parameter is a variable that carries within iProperties value.
What I need to change this value and the pieces once only.
I do not want open model by model to change the value of the variable that will change.
If you have 1500 plates, the models have to open one at a time.
I want to change the value and automatically change occurs.
If you can help me clarify this problem will be grateful.
Can I send the file to mount you.

Hi,
I am trying to understand the scenario. It looks you have many files, using the ipart member you have published in content center. Each file has the param to indicate the price of the ipart member. Now, you want to update the price.
Firstly, param is stored within the file. You have to open each file to update its param. But in the case, why you did not setup a database (or even an Excel table) to manage the price? i.e. the table/database contains all information with price. Each row corresponds to each ipart member. So when your file is opened, you can just check the price in the table. While to update price, you can just manage that table/database. Is this OK for you?
Xiaodong Liang,
I was very happy to receive satisfaction about my doubts, since no one answered my topics
It took me to answer because I was travel.
I have an example with some parts, could send to you.
Would be easier to understand everything.
My montage summing all this (price)
I do not know to do to add the various subassembly, when you add them to the final assembly.
Could you help me solve this?
I do not know.
Thank you for responding about my problem.

Hi,
Depending on what the exact question is this may be a product related thing.
As I understand..
- you have an iPart which has a property like "Estimated Cost" set for it
- then you publish this part in the Content Center
- then place many instances of it in an assembly >> each occurrence's "Estimated Cost" iProperty is set to a given value
- now you want to change the price of the part and then propagate that change to all the parts
If "Estimated Cost" is part of the Content Center properties, then you should be able to
- go to Manage >> Content Center >> Editor
- right-click on the part you want to change and say "Family Table"
- change the price column of the part, then OK, then Done
- save the assembly and click Manage >> Content Center >> Refresh
Now the occurrences should have the up-to-date value.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
