apprenticeservercomponent and excel

Hi,

I use apprenticeservercomponent to:

- open Documents

- change excel reference

- modify excel (with microsoft.excel.interop)

- save the documents (assembly and parts) in a new position on filesystem

After the execution everything in assembly and parts is OK and the linked excel documents are changed.

The problem is that the value of user parameters, depending from excel value, don't change. How can I do to force the refresh/update of the documents or user parameters from apprenticeserver? is it possible?

You cannot change parameters of the model via Apprentice.  This should be performed in Inventor.

I will create command in Inventor to update user parameters.

But when I will be in Inventor environment, do I open the assembly, run through the occurencies, search parameters and update manually or may I call something like "refresh/update globally" command on the assembly?

Normally it is enough to Update the top assembly.  You also have Rebuild option.
