Symbols in .idw's

In .idw files that I create in Inventor 5.3. Symbols such as the diameter symbol and the symbols within the feature control frame print very dark. RomanS is the text font that my company uses as it's standard and it prints much lighter than the symbols. I have tried bolding the text and this helps some but not nearly enough. Also, I can't find a note baloon (a number within a triangle) anywhere in Inventor. Does anyone know if there is one. Thanks.

I have the same problem.  The font I use for dimensioning
is the ISOCP font which looks like a stencil font and is also thin enough that
it does not detract the reader from the details of the drawing.  Whenever I
use anything with a symbol, such as diameter or degrees, it uses the AIGDT font
which is very dark.  The interesting thing is that all of those symbols are
present in the ISOCP font.  It is possible to use them by the correct
Alt-key combinations or with character generator in a different program like MS
Word.  I simply cannot find anywhere in Inventor where we can choose the
font for the symbols.

I eagerly watch this thread in the hope someone will solve
this mystery.

Are you guys sure you want to be in the VBA customization NG?

The fonts it uses are amgdt and aigdt. (it actually appears to be using the aigdt) don't
know how to make the dropdown change other than doing the characters manually.

For the note balloon make a sketched symbol.
