Sounds in Design Assistant

Hi all,

I have searched everywhere for a way to turn the annoying 'bleep' and 'beep' sounds off when modifying, opening files etc in design assistant. Searched the entire Inventor folder on my hdd for any .wav files etc and all I can find is the constraint.wav file!

I listen to music through headphones whilst working and it is driving me crazy!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I didn't even know Design Assistant makes sounds. Since this isn't an API
related question you might have better luck asking this in the general
autodesk.inventor group.

Hi, Jaan

It is the operating system rather than design assistant causing the sounds.
You can turn the sounds off in following two ways:
<1> Change the theme for OS;
<2> In Vista: Control Panel > Sounds(class view) > Sounds tab, change the
'sound scheme' to 'No Sounds' > OK
You can do the similar process in other OS if necessary.
