Sample for Ribbon and buttons

Hello together,

is there a sample for the different buttons (PopUp, ButtonPopUp, SplitButton, SplitButtonMRU, ComboBox, Quick Access Toolbar)?

Thank you very much

Hi Georg, A sample for adding new commands to the RMB action without picking existing commands from the Inventor Ribbon? Regards, Aditya

Hi Georg,

The source code for the RibbonBuilder is provided in the link that was mentioned, so you can simply take a look at it.

Otherwise you can find some sample in the API Help Files or the Inventor training material (Module 9) but they are not exhaustive. It's pretty similar to create one or the other ribbon item types, so if you have a specific question let us know.

Philippe.

Hello Philippe,

I took a look at the samples. But there is no sample for the PopUp, ButtonPopUp, SplitButton, SplitButtonMRU, ComboBox, DockableWindows with some buttons. Please could you help me with an example. The rest of the add-in works very well.

Thank you

Georg

Attached is a sample that contains some ribbon item examples, it's not 100% clean, but should help you to get started. There is no major technical difficulty in creating those ribbon controls.

The following blog post illustrates an example to create a Dockable Window. Basically it can contain any .Net UserControl, so designing such a window is the same than designing a .Net form:

Philippe.
