Inventor View Control .ocx add in VS2012 on Windows 7 64 bit computer

Hello All,

I am really having trouble getting the InventorViewCtrl.ocx to be recognized by VS2012.

I did register the bin32\InventorViewCtrl.ocx with C:\sysWow64 but no go.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bob

Hi Bob,

That ActiveX control is 64 bit on a 64 bit OS, so VS will not see it and you would need to add it dynamically like other 64 bit controls:

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
