win2k clients losing licenses while working in ldd menu

we have ldd r2 with a network license. it works fine except for a few times
when the license server downs itself. however, another coworker and i (using
windows2000) are experincing the above message once in a while while working
with the ldd menu. it lets us work for a while (using the ldd commands) and
then it says the above error.
Has anyone seen or heard of this happening and if so do you know how to
resolve this error. it tends to be a hassle to restart acad every time we
use the ldd commands more than a few times.

PLEASE HELP!!

Does your machines have duel processors? We had a problem just like yours
and it was because there was a conflict with the duel processors.
