We're on a Windows nt 4 network, using acad14 on standalone
license. (Files are stored a nt file server) Anyone have any ideas or software suggestions on how to find out who (username) has a dwg open.
meaning - If I were to open a dwg and get the "open file as read only" message, because someone else has this dwg open already, tell me who (username) has that dwg open.
thanks for your help

I know in 2000 there is an express tool that gives you this ability, I don't
know if this is available in R14 or not. With NT you might be able to
right-click on the file to see who the owner of the file is, but this may
only tell you the creator of the file and not who last saved it.
Hope this helps

The whohas command is part of volume 6 of the Express Tools for R14. It is
also available as an Express Tool for AutoCAD 2000.
