which version to install?

I am a civil engineering tech student and am wondering about what would be the best version for me

I currently have windows 7 home premium. It's a 64 bit system.

I have an AMD Phenom(tm) II x4 925 Processor. 2.80 GHz

8.00 GB RAM and 1 TB hard drive.

Can I use this or do I need to update to the ultimate or professional?

If so, which one is the best to get?
