You need to provide the error that you are receiving and any installation logs created in your  %TEMP% location.

This typically indicates that you may be trying to install a 32 bit deployment onto a 64 bit computer or vice versa. Can you please verify?

Correct.  You have downloaded the wrong version.  You should be able to determine your version of Windows from System Properties.  Once you have downloaded and installed the correct version for you system, you won't have this issue.
