I'm having some trouble running inventor 2015 student version.
Actually it doesn't run at all. When i run the inventor.exe i see it popping up in the taskmanager but it gets killed after 10 seconds.
Everything is installed through this little program Autodesk_Inventor_2015_English_Win_32bit_wi_en-US\
I googled a few solutions but nothing helped me sofar.
This i what i tried:
Uninstalled the 2014 version and rebooted
Installed with the 10MB installation tool (took several retries)
Installed everyting but doesn't run inventor2015.exe
Download a INV19010.zip file to add a register (renaming to .reg) - http://knowledge.autodesk.com/sites/default/files/file_downloads/INV19010.htm
Changed some filenames to .org in the register -
Downloaded and installed the latest inventor2015 update.
Tried to run as admin
disabled avg antivirus (after installation)
Run the installation again and it installs Content Libraries and some C++ again succesfully. Strange because that was already done about 4 times.
Tried to find this HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Inventor\RegistryVersion19.0\System\Preferences\File but the File-file doesn't exist overhere.
Before installing inventor 2015 i was running 2014 very well. I neatly uninstalled all autodesk software before installing 2015.
I uninstalled AVG.
Uninstalled inventor 2015
uninstalled the autodesk programs with the uninstall tool
still there are a bunch autodesk programs, even a shortcut to inventor 2015
uninstalled all autodesk programms manually wth uninstallation through windows
deleted all inventor / autodesk / autocad entries in the registers
deleted all autodesk related files on the harddisk
tried to reinstall inventor again but the installer keeps telling me it is already installed but it isn't!!
8 hrs of non productive trouble...
I use a win7 32bit i3 computer with 4GB memory all win7 updates, updated my videodriver Geforce GT330 to version 337.88
I just ordered a fresh win7home premium licence and maybe a complete new windows install will do the trick?
Who can help me out?
Can't wait to hear a good solution now i need a few good beers...
It kind of sounds like a license problem, actually. You might see if there is a log file under C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdLM. It might yield the reason.
